MEREDITH, N.H. (AP) – Severe storms moved through New Hampshire on Thursday night, bringing intense lightning, heavy rain and damaging winds.
Downed trees were reported in Meredith, Franklin, Ashland and Sanbornton. There were no reports of injuries or extended power outages.
Police and firefighters in Plainfield and Lebanon also reported downed trees and power lines throughout their communities.
A severe thunderstorm watch was in effect for the entire state until 11 p.m.
