LEWISTON – A memorial Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Aurore P. Cornish was held Thursday morning, Aug. 16, at Holy Cross Church with the Rev. Daniel Greenleaf celebrating the Mass, assisted by Deacon Aaron Damboise.

During the Mass, the Old and New Testament readings were read by Aurore’s grandson, Kevin Rioux, who also read the Prayer of the Faithful.

Aurore’s brother, Roger and his wife, Dorothy Plourde, brought the offertory gifts to the altar.

Graveside committal prayers were recited by Deacon Damboise, following a procession to Mt. Hope Cemetery. Following prayers at the cemetery, all were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston.

Arrangements were by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lewiston.
