BRIDGTON – Patricia Probert Gott, author of “So You Wanna Be a Cowgirl,” will sign copies of her book from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Aug. 20, at Bridgton Books Inc., 140 Main St.

The book is based on her adventures while employed as a horse wrangler and trail guide for three summers at a dude ranch outside Cody, Wyo.
