Auburn – Laura A. Sanborn, 55, of Lewiston, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 16, at the Hospice House with her loving family by her side.
She was born May 24, 1952, in Randolph, Vt., the daughter of William Chabot and Florence (Davis) Coy. She attended Edward Little High School.
She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lewiston. Among the many things she enjoyed, she was especially fond of spending time with her family and spending mornings outside with her coffee watching the birds.
She is survived by her daughters, Leslie Sanborn, Belinda Rivard and fiancé, Jake Anderson, Melissa Rivard and fiancé, Jeff Taylor, Lea Clark, Lisa Clark, and Tina Smith and husband, Ken; sons, Lawrence Coy and companion, Trish Brawn, Joseph Clark and companion, Cary Wright, David Rivard and companion, Laura Billings, Jon Rivard and companion, Kim Cole, and Raymond Rivard; beloved great-nephew, Randy Ramsey; one sister; nine brothers; grandchildren, Nicholas Coy, Dylan Brawn, Paige Coy, Addison Clark, Andre Rivard, Allyssa Smith and expecting grandson Gavin Anderson.
She was predeceased by two sisters; and her mother.
Laura was known for always putting the needs of others first and was truly an angel on Earth.
