Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards have each said a major goal of theirs is to restore respect for America around the world. The greatest disrespect that I see comes from the Muslim countries, where the people really don’t like the sexual liberation, radical feminism, and Hollywood community that these candidates court.
I believe these candidates cannot restore respect for America around the world.
However, there is a candidate, Mitt Romney, who is a proud family man, husband of one wife and a good father of five; a devout man of his faith, bishop of the Boston Mormon community, organizer of weekly meetings of 10 parishes under his bishopric, ministering to the many needs of those parishioners and distributing church funds to their needy. Those are qualifications I believe could earn respect for this presidential candidate around the world.
Political analyst Mark Halperin has said, “Mitt Romney … the most organized candidate/organization I have ever seen.” Others have pointed out that his endeavors employ rigorous analysis and fastidious preparation, that he is a financial wizard, and pointed out his intelligence (top of class at Harvard). He is also known for emotion-free crisis management, freeing Massachusetts from debt to surplus, and he is a devout man with a “Midas touch” on everything he embarks upon.
What more do we need in a candidate?
