• 179 Lisbon St., Lewiston, former home of the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce, will become the new home of Tri-County Health Services, which is leaving its longtime space on High Street in Auburn. The health care clinic will occupy 3,000 square feet and expects to be open for business at the new address in October.
• 415 Lisbon St., Lewiston, Watterson-Prime, financial services firm that provides data analysis, due diligence and consulting services, leasing 1,600 square feet of office space on the second floor of the Business Service Center at KeyBank Plaza. It is the first tenant for the second- and third-floor space managed by the Lewiston-Auburn Economic Growth Council in the newly refurbished four-story business center. SCORE will take up residence soon in the first floor of the center, a neighbor of the Chamber of Commerce.
• Kittyhawk Avenue, across from Concord Insurance Group, Auburn, site plan approved by Planning Board Aug. 14 for Hartt Transportation to build a parking lot to accommodate 200 tractor trailers. The $1 million project is expected to be completed in spring of 2008. About seven acres of the 30-acre parcel will be developed into a drop yard. The company operates a facility on Hotel Road, which will remain an operational site after the Kittyhawk project is complete.
• Corner of Main and Mountain Avenue, Lewiston, historic J.C. Lord mansion, built in 1882 by a successful grocer who had the contract to supply provisions for the city poor farm. Now offers 4,400 square feet of office space. For sale at $350,000. Listed with Coldwell Banker Millett Realty.
• 8 Doyon Ave., Lewiston, a 3-lot residential subdivision presented by Terradyn Consultants of New Gloucester. Approved by Planning Board Aug. 13
• 224 West Hardscrabble Road, Auburn, proposal for a new trucking terminal for SPC Transport, including a 7,000-square-foot building. Building permit issued July 5 with a projected cost of $650,000. The company operates from a facility on Omni Circle.
• 24 Court St. Auburn, Goff Block, historic commercial building built about 1915, for sale for $1.1 million or leases starting at $6 per square foot. Three stories, 5,000 square feet per floor. No Tomatoes, Midnight Blues Cafe and Uncle Troy’s all previous occupants of first floor. Listed with Coldwell Banker Millett Realty.
