Several trees were knocked down Thursday night in Livermore during a severe thunderstorm, including some along Route 4, such as these. One man’s yard had eight or nine trees down when what appeared to be a tornado swirled through. National Weather Service meteorological technician Art Lester said Monday, a severe storm warning was issued that evening for northern Androscoggin County, and it did say a tornado could form. There were no reports of tornadoes spotted, and there was no indication on the radar that a tornado struck, Lester said.
