AUBURN – Playoffs began Sunday in the Auburn Co-Rec Softball League, with the following results: Red Snappers 16, P&G 12; Real Deal Auto 28, Envirologix 18; Rowe Auburn 19, Blue Jays 7; Mystery Machines 28, Androscoggin Home Care 21; Janet McCarthy 13, Rowe Auburn 5; Real Deal 22, Androscoggin Title 21; Superior Concrete 19 Red Snappers 4.

The double-elimination tourney continues Sunday. In the winners’ bracket, McCarthy will take on the Winner of Sunday’s 7:30 a.m. game between Mystery Machines-Margaret Murphy, 10 a.m., Lakeview-1; Superior Concrete vs Real Deal, 10 a.m., Pett. Several losers’ bracket games will be waged at 7:30, 8:30, 10:00, 11:30, 1:15 and 3:00 at the various fields. Championship contest is set for Sunday at 4:30 at Pettengill.
