MANCHESTER, N.H. – Giles H. Lavoie, 64, of Manchester, N.H., went to be with the Lord on Aug. 19.

He was born in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, July 1, 1943, the son of Albert J. and Florence M. (Bergeron) Lavoie.

He was a maintenance mechanic for Pandora Co. and One Dow Court for many years until his retirement, due to illness. A jack-of-all-trades, he loved to tinker with electronic gadgets.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stella L. (Chevrefils) Lavoie; a caring daughter, Sarah Ann Lavoie; his mother, Florence Lavoie; three brothers, Normand Lavoie, Donald Lavoie and his wife, Ann, and Rene Lavoie; three sisters, Denise and her husband, Jerry Leger, Elize and her husband, Charles Pelletier, and Claudette and her husband, Robert Lacombe.

He was predeceased by his father, Albert Lavoie.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
