BATH – A concert of four-part, unaccompanied songs in barbershop-style will be presented by the Nor’easters Chapter of the International Barbershop Harmony Society Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Chocolate Church.

A male chorus from the mid-coast area that meets each week for the joy of singing, the Nor’easters is directed by Jay Wiley of Hallowell. The group performs popular songs and show tunes from the 1920s through the 1960s.

Joining the Nor’easters will be the 20-member Windjammers chorus from the Camden area, directed by Cathy Chamberlain.

Special guests will include the male quartet Melodies and Memories from southern New Hampshire, the women’s quartet Celebrate from the award-winning Royal River Chorus of southern Maine, and the 2006 Northeastern District senior quartet champions Back Bay Four and Senior Momentum.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Master of ceremonies will be J. Curtis Roberts of Wiscasset.

Tickets, $12, $10 for seniors and students, are available at the Chocolate Church.
