LEWISTON – Jo Miller, 56, of San Francisco, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court on Aug. 3 to being an accessory after the fact to unlawful transportation of hazardous waste without a manifest. A story on B1 Aug. 7 incorrectly reported the charge. In addition, Miller did not operate mills in Lewiston and Lisbon for three decades, in the early ’70s or before. She was an employee of Miller Industries until 2004, when she became vice president of the company. The information was incorrectly reported by the Sun Journal.
