Auburn and Lewiston police, along with the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department, will be holding a joint OUI roadblock within the next week, with the location to be determined.
The sobriety checkpoint is being paid for by a grant from the Maine Department of Public Safety, from which all three departments received money.
The focus will be to identify and arrest drunken drivers, but officers will also be looking for other criminal and traffic violations.
