AUBURN – Funeral services honoring the life of Harold S. Soper Sr. were celebrated on Friday, Aug. 24, at Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel.

The Rev. Marian Marks officiated the service and recited committal prayers at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

During the service, words of remembrance were shared by Mr. Soper’s son, Robert Soper, and poems were shared by Mr. Soper’s grandchildren, Brandon and Channing Soper.

Also the song, “That’s My Job,” by Conway Twitty was played during the service in tribute to Mr. Soper’s life.

The pallbearers were Bruce, Harold S. Jr. and Robert Soper, Norman Child, Bob Bussiere Jr., Mark Avilla, John Ethridge and Steven Bowden.

A reception of fellowship was held at Mr. Soper’s home in Auburn after the services at the cemetery.
