LISBON – Normand and Doris Poulin of Lisbon celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a gathering on July 21 at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.

Party hosts were their children, Jeanne Martin, Diane Mottram and Maurice Poulin. A guest book was provided and the couple received a 60th anniversary throw and a 60th anniversary picture frame. Jeanne Martin and Diane Mottram presented the toast.

Granddaughters Amanda and Brittany Martin sang “Grandpa” by the Judds. A video presentation, prepared by PJ Mottram, was shown during the meal.

The couple was married on Aug. 9, 1947, at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. Their grandchildren are Kimberly Bossie, Jason Mottram, Tammy Martin, Amanda Martin, Brittany Martin, Brock Poulin, Brandon Poulin and Grant Poulin. Great-grandchildren are Abigail Bossie, Ben Bossie, Madison Bossie, Jacob Mottram and Nevaeh Poulin.

Original wedding attendants present were Mariette Grondin, flower girl, and Normand Bilodeau and Normand Kolment, ushers.

Family members attended from Canada, New York, New Jersey and Maine.
