Haverhill, Mass. – Theo (Russell) Jordan, 92, of Bradford, Mass., passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Baker Katz Nursing Home in Haverhill, Mass., following a short illness.

She was born in Westbrook, May 13, 1915, the daughter of Alfred O. and Bertha B. Swett Anderson. She graduated from Westbrook High School in 1933 and from Gorham Normal School in 1935.

She lived in Auburn for 27 years before moving to Florida.

She returned to make her home in New England for the past 12 years.

She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Shirley of Bradford, Mass.; two grandchildren, LeeAnn Bergstrom and husband, Daniel, of North Andover, Mass., and Craig R. Shirley and wife, Kristen, of Bradford, Mass.; three stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister, Arline E. Card of Haverhill, Mass.; a niece; and a large extended family.

She was predeceased by her two husbands, George A. Russell in 1975, and James G. Jordan in 1991.
