LEWISTON – David C. Jellison Sr., 60, of 81 Howe St., Lewiston, died Saturday, Aug. 25, at his home suddenly and peacefully.
He was born in Lewiston, Aug. 8, 1947, a son of Homer and Aletha Cox Jellison. He was educated in Lewiston schools and worked at Grow -Tech in production in Lisbon Falls.
He played softball for the Merchant, Dave’s Movie Center and Lincoln Street Radiator. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, the Red Sox and the Patriots. He was an avid CB’er and loved going fishing with his buddy Dan.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, the former Susan A. Campbell Jellison of Lewiston whom he married Oct. 11, 1980; a daughter, Cheryl Jellison of Lisbon Falls; three sons, David R. and David C. Jellison Jr., both of Auburn and John C. Jellison of Topsham; his mom, Aletha Jellison Jacques of Lewiston; his dad, Homer Jellison of Jasper, Fla.; his stepdaughter, Julie Williams, and her husband, Jason, of Lewiston and their children, Arianna and Troy; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley, Heather, Ashley and Brock; two sisters, Cheryl and Robert Hammond of Harrington, Conn., and Donna Jacques, and her fiancée, Barry Kelley, of New Hampshire; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Lauretta Campbell of Lisbon. He will be missed by his dog and best friend TY.
