MEXICO – The Mexico Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, (known locally as “The Green Church”) Women’s Fellowship will hold a baked bean take-out supper with all the fixings on Saturday, Sept. 8.

A supper for two people, costing $12, will consist of a quart of homemade baked beans (large or small), a pint of coleslaw, four homemade biscuits and two pieces of homemade apple pie.

Orders must be made by Tuesday, Sept. 4, by calling 364-8603 and leaving name, order and phone number. The call will be returned and the order verified.

Pick-up will be between 10 a.m. and noon on Saturday in the Mexico Church Fellowship Hall, using the Mitchell Street side door.

The church will hold its final indoor/outdoor flea market on the front lawn and in the dining room basement from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.

Those wishing can rent a 12 by 12 space outside and bring a table for $15 or rent a table inside for $20. The Fryewood Farm will have fall flowers, veggies and pumpkins. Call Gail True at 562-4367 for more information and/or to make a reservation for a space or table.
