AUBURN – Mitchell Clyde Thomas will be master of ceremonies at the Fall Festival of Music to be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, in Kirk Hall at Central Maine Community College.
Director of music-theater camp for youth at Camp Mechuwana, Thomas has been entertaining audiences in Maine and around New England for 35 years. He is currently the Auburn United Methodist Church’s pianist and has been involved with the Lewiston-Auburn’s Community Little Theatre, where he has directed and performed in many shows.
Featured performers at the concert include Harry Coddington Jr., guitarist; Jeff Munson, bassist; Kristen Thomas, soprano; Vincent Ratsavong, dancer and singer; and Aaron Patton, Lisa Patton, Katelyn St. Pierre and Phil Vampatella, members of the Lakeside Players at CMCC.
Songs from “Taller than Truth: Tales of Paul Bunyan and Other Big Folks” will be performed.
The festival will benefit Loaves and Fishes and the Sabattus Area Food Pantry, serving the critical needs of Sabattus area residents. The evening will feature a raffle, 50/50 and a snack bar. Nonperishable food or other donations will be accepted at the door. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.
