LEWISTON – In conjunction with the start of the Senior College fall semester in September, the “Food for Thought” luncheon program series at USM/Lewiston-Auburn on Thursday, Sept. 6, will introduce the semester instructors, who will describe their courses and provide opportunity for enrollment at the luncheon.

The new semester is offering a schedule of 14 unusually diverse courses over the eight-week period from Sept. 17 to Nov. 23. Contact the Senior College office for more details at 753-6510.

The luncheon program will be held in the Function Room 170 at USM/L-A beginning at noon.

The cost, which includes lunch, is $6.50 with advance reservation or $8 at the door, opening at 11:30 a.m.

Reservations must be made by noon on Wednesday, Sept. 5, by phone at 753-6510 or online at usm.maine.edu/lac/seniorcollege. The phone line will not be checked after noon, so late callers will be considered as “at the door.” This month’s luncheon will be Thursday instead of the usual Friday.
