MEXICO – The Mexico Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, will welcome back its Sunday school program, teachers and students at a Rally Day celebration on Sunday, Sept. 9.

The “Green Church” at 163 Main St. plans a big welcome-back registration for all children ages prekindergarten through high school at the 10 a.m. service.

The session will begin in the sanctuary with a story from Pastor Ginger and later dismissed to classes.

After church a free lunch of grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, drinks, salads and dessert will continue the celebration of “Coming Home to the Green Church.”

Lunch will take place at the Arsenault family home on the Backkingdom Road after the service.

All are invited, past and new Sunday schoolers. An RSVP is not required, but would be helpful. Call the church office at 364-8603 and leave a message with a name and phone number.
