WILTON – A Wilton resident flagged down police officer Josh King at 7:10 Saturday night on Main Street, saying he had just been robbed at knifepoint at Academy Hill School.
For undisclosed reasons, the resident and two juveniles had made arrangements to meet at the site, said police Chief Dennis Brown on Tuesday. The victim told King that the teens then allegedly took $70 from him, Brown said.
King’s investigation resulted in one juvenile being issued summonses for misdemeanor charges of trafficking in imitation drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The second juvenile was taken to Franklin County Detention Center on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, a felony charge, and trafficking in dangerous knives and trafficking in imitation drugs, both misdemeanors.
