Contestants, judges needed for pageant

FARMINGTON – Contestants and judges are needed for the eighth annual Miss Farmington Fair Pageant to be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at the Farmington Fair Grounds. Preparation, rehearsals and interview competitions will take place during the day beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Girls who reside in Franklin County and are between the ages of 9 and 18 are welcome to participate and compete for the titles of Miss Farmington Fair (ages 14 to 18), Junior Miss Farmington Fair (9 to 13), and Miss Hospitality (for the one who is most active in participation in the fair itself).

Prizes will also be awarded for each category of competition in each age group as well as essay and runners-up.

A snack and pizza will be provided to the girls during the day. Cash prizes will be awarded from the Franklin County Agricultural Society.
