LEWISTON – Robert L. Letourneau, 67, of Auburn, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, after a long illness with his family by his side,

He was born in Lewiston, Jan. 16, 1940, the son of George and Phoebe (Doyon) Letourneau. On Nov. 10, 1962, he married Judy “Lavoie” Letourneau, the love of his life.

He worked for Lewiston Public Works for 32 years at the Hydro Water Plant Station and then as a dispatcher before retiring in 2000.

He was a member of St. Philip’s Church, and a member of the Rod & Gun Club, and Fish & Game Association in Auburn.

Besides his wife, Judy of Auburn, survivors include one daughter, Gail Pulsifer, and her husband, Donald and grand kids Donald III and Sara, all of Livermore; four sons, Andrew Letourneau, and his wife, Tina as well as grandson, Justin of Auburn, Timothy Letourneau, and his wife, Sheila and grandkids, Cody, Kelsey, Josh and Cherise, all of Auburn, Gregory Letourneau, and his wife, Linda, of Lewiston and Kenneth Letourneau, and his wife, Christine and grandkids, Jennifer and Bret, all of Turner; three sisters, Jeannine Hall of Pahrump, Nev., Shirley Florida of Warren, Ohio, and Sandra Gagnon of Lewiston; three brothers, Normand Letourneau, and his wife, Jeanne, of Lewiston, Richard Letourneau of Lewiston and Raymond Letourneau of Concord, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Alfred; and two sisters, Pearl Guenette and Georgette Caron.
