FARMINGTON – Armand H. Bilodeau, 75, a resident of Birch Street in Livermore Falls, died unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 31, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Aug. 28, 1932, in Livermore Falls, the son of Leo and Marie Louise (Tardif) Bilodeau. He was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School, Class of 1951.

On April 6, 1953, he married the former Theresa Judd at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. He worked at local shoe companies in North Jay, Livermore Falls and Bass Shoe Co.i n Wilton. He had worked for Livermore Falls Trust Co. for seven years and later at International Paper Co., Woodlands Division in Augusta for 13 years, retiring in 1991.

He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, where he was a eucharistic minister, lecturer and a member of the resurrection choir.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who always enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the Western Maine Gemology and Mineral Society and a former member of the SAD 36 school board.

He enjoyed woodworking, photography, hunting, fishing, rock hunting and jewelry making.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Theresa of Livermore Falls; three sons, Donald A. Bilodeau, and his wife, Karen, of Gray, Robert H. Bilodeau, and his wife, Lynn, of Rumford Center and Paul L. Bilodeau, and his wife, Deborah, of Bridgton; six grandchildren, Emily Bilodeau of Greene, Jennifer Bilodeau-James, and her husband, Jerry, of Brunswick, Bethany Bilodeau and Chad Bilodeau, both of Farmington, N.H., and Erin Bilodeau and Sarah Bilodeau of Bridgton; a great-grandson, Ben James; a sister, Suzanne Lombardo, and her husband, Richard, of Maryland; a sister-in-law, Leanne Bilodeau of Livermore; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Gerard Bilodeau.
