AUBURN – Jean M. Saucier, 62, of Ash Street, Lewiston, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 30, at the Hospice House.

She was born in Houlton on Feb. 14, 1945, the daughter of Louis and Mary (DeVoe) LeVasseur.

She worked in several local shoe shops and as a certified nurse’s aide at various nursing homes.

She enjoyed building puzzles, playing dice, Sunday dinners and family outings. She loved her family, children and grandchildren dearly.

She is survived by her children Cynthia Cyr and husband Mike of Lewiston, Tracey Fitzpatrick and Fiancée Jim Footman of Auburn, Richard Fitzpatrick of Lewiston, Kenneth Fitzpatrick of Augusta, sisters Dorothy Sowers of Presque Isle, Lorraine Evans of Tennessee, Betty Drake of Auburn, Joanne Snyder of Lewiston, brother Walter LeVassuer of Florida, and seven grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Eddie, Larry, Patrick and John LeVassuer.
