LEWISTON – A surprise party was held recently for Rick and Sandy Jalbert of Lewiston, on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. The event was planned by their sons, Jared and Jason Jalbert, and was held at the home of Renee Morin in Sabattus.

A video of the lives of the couple as children and as adults was shown. Several family members brought some favorite dishes, and the day was spent playing games and swimming. A special ice cream cake and a marble sheet cake were served. Guests signed their names on mat around a framed photo. Toastmasters were Jason and Jared Jalbert.

Mr. Jalbert and the former Sandy Wilson were married on June 26, 1982, in Lewiston. In addition to their two sons, they also have a granddaughter, Ava Marie.

Mrs. Jalbert is employed at Summit Environmental in Lewiston. Mr. Jalbert is employed at Downeast Pension Services Inc. in New Gloucester.

Original wedding attendants present were Debbie Norton, maid of honor, and Jim Audet, best man.
