LEWISTON – Richard and Claire Moore of Lewiston recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a local restaurant, followed by dancing at the Poland Spring Inn.

Mr. Moore and the former Claire Tourigny were married at Holy Cross Church on June 22, 1957. Mr. Moore worked in auto body repair for most of his career, and was the owner/operator of Caron’s Body Shop in Lewiston. Mrs. Moore was a laboratory technician for more than 25 years, then worked with Mr. Moore in the family business.

Attendees at the celebration were their three children and spouses, Linda and David St. Andre, Carol and Marcel Morin, and Brian and Dawn Moore. Also in attendance were their grandchildren, Angela Cummings and husband Mike, Kevin Morin, Keith Morin and Kristen Moore, and guests Dianna Pozdniakov and Chris Tutalo.
