AUBURN – Marguerite Y. Wright, of 6 Orchard Circle, Lewiston, died early Saturday morning at the Hospice House following a long sickness.

She was born in Lewiston, Sept. 18, 1920, the daughter of George and Yvonne Bourgea Roux. She was a resident of this area all her life. She attended the Academy of St. Joseph in South Berwick, and also graduated from the former ACME Business College in Lewiston.

Mrs. Wright was employed with the former Kerr Electrical Co. Inc. in Auburn for 31 years as office manager. She continued there with the Cives Corp. and later with Clark International Corp. as personnel manager, where she then retired following 49 years in the business profession.

She was a member of Holy Family Church, the Dirigo Camera Club, the Women’s Literary Union, Horizon 55 and Covenant 50. She enjoyed traveling and took many trips in the United States and abroad.

She is survived by her stepson, Christopher J. Wright and his wife, Patricia A., of Schenectady, N.Y.; two sisters, Sister Cecile Roux of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Waterville, and Mrs. Roland (Therese) Michaud of East Hartford, Conn.

Also surviving are two step-granddaughters, Karyn and Katie Wright, both of Schenectady, N.Y.; and nephews and nieces, Dennis, Carl, Pauline, Diane, Sandra and Elaine Michaud.

She was predeceased by her husband, Everett A. Wright, who died on Nov. 11, 1980.
