TURNER – The wedding of Jennifer Rose Paradie and Nicholas Adam Robitaille was held at 11 a.m., July 7, at the Turner Universalist Church. Eva Leavitt, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Robitaille is the daughter of Roger and Norine Paradie of Turner. Mr. Robitaille is the son of H. George and Barbara Robitaille of Lisbon.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white embroidered satin gown in A-line style with split front overskirt and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of purple and white roses and white daisies.

Angela Paradie, sister of the bride, and Sherri McCue, best friend of the bride, were maids of honor. Emily Steele, friend of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Hannah Rossignol, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Best men were Corey Provencher and Shaun McCue, friends of the bridegroom. Usher was Shawn Butler, friend of the couple.

A reception followed at the Carriage House Plus in Lewiston, after which the couple went on a cruise to Alaska. They are residing in Lisbon.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. She is a sixth-grade teacher at Philip W. Sugg Middle School in Lisbon.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2002 graduate of Northern Maine Technical College. He is a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Dube Gravel Co. in Lewiston.
