RANGELEY – The wedding of Jennifer Stowell and Lee Norris was held at 11:30 p.m. on July 4 at Height of the Land in Rangeley. Seth Carey officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Norris is the daughter of Aline Dupont of Portland and the late William Stowell. Mr. Norris is the son of Brenda and Harvey Norris of Elizabethton, Tenn.

Bradley and Justin Norris, sons of the bridegroom, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Jordan Grand Hotel at Sunday River Ski Resort in Newry, after which the couple traveled to Europe.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alaska in Fairbanks and is currently completing her master’s degree at the Muskie School of Public Service. She is employed as economic and community development director for the town of Lisbon, and is also a member of the Maine Air National Guard.

The bridegroom served in the U.S. Air Force from 1993-2007 and is employed as installation repair technician for Time Warner Cable. He is also a member of the Maine Air National Guard.
