This is in response to the editorial which appeared in the Sun Journal Aug. 25.

Town Manager Jim Doar has come to Rumford during a turbulent time. I applaud his fortitude in being willing to offer Rumford citizens his direction.

It is my hope that Rumford residents can be united and support him in his effort to take the community forward.
