Seniors lunch

BETHEL – Bethel Senior Citizens Club will have a meeting and lunch at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Rooster’s Roadhouse, Mayville Road. Members are asked to bring an item for the auction. The cost for lunch is $7.50. For reservations, call Nancy at 824-3350 or Arlene at 824-2877.

Legion supper

DIXFIELD – Swasey-Torrey Post, American Legion, and Auxiliary will hold a 5 p.m. spaghetti supper before the regular meeting on Sunday. Sept. 9, at the legion hall. Sponsored by the auxiliary, all members of the post and unit are invited. The auxiliary state president will be the invited guest. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
