LEWISTON – Eva B. Pelletier Riendeau, 86, of Orleans Street, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston, July 20, 1921, the daughter of Ernest and Marie Anne Poulin Brochu. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was married to Fernand J. Pelletier on July 23, 1940. He predeceased her Aug. 21, 1989. She married Robert A. Riendeau on Aug. 3, 1996, who survives. Prior to her retirement in 1983, she was employed at Bates Manufacturing Co. for 37 years.

She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, making crafts and enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, of Lewiston; a daughter, Jeannine Ayotte, and husband, Robert, of Sabattus; two sons, Bertrand Pelletier of Lakeland, Fla., and Paul Pelletier, and wife, Eileen, of Auburn; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Anita Pelletier in June.
