NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) – New Britain police have found skeletal remains of a third woman in a wooded area behind a strip mall where the bones of two other women were found last month.
Police began searching the area near Route 9 on August 20th, after a man walking through the woods discovered the bones. They soon determined that the remains belonged to two women and had been there between four and 10 years.
One of the women was believed to have been in her early 20s but could have been as young as 18. Police say the other woman was believed to have been between 30 and 40 years old.
It was not clear how old the third woman was or how long her remains had been there.
