FARMINGTON – SAD 9 Community and Adult Education will have two art classes with instructor Barbara Hathaway.

“Art for Your Heart,” from 6 to 8 p.m. starting Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the Hathaway Studio, will be a creative class to develop self-awareness, self-esteem and expression of what may be hard to express verbally. The class can help the artist grow and experience achievement while relaxing and showing their personal energy flow with watercolor.

“All about Watercolor,” for beginners to semi-pro, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. starting Tuesday, Sept. 25. Hathaway will use the Michael Wilcox School of Painting technique in watercolor for mixing colors.
