FARMINGTON – Monty came to the Franklin County Animal Shelter as a stray almost a year ago.

Staff said he is a distinguished gentleman that would love to be the one and only in someone’s life.

He loves to come up and curl around legs asking for attention. Monty craves attention and will sit right next to a person patiently waiting for the next good head scratch.

His favorite home setting would be in a quiet home where he can lounge on the furniture and sit in front of a large window and stare at the bird feeders outside.

Staff members said they are excited about all the donations that have been pouring through the doors and they and the animals appreciate the help.
