MIDWAY, Ga. – Roger A. Rancourt, 64, died Aug. 26, at home in Midway, Ga., with family by his side.
Born in Lewiston, Nov. 17, 1942, to Marie Anne and Augustin Rancourt, he moved to Georgia in 1970.
A graduate of St. Dom’s and Armstrong State College, he served in the U.S. Army, worked in Savannah hospitals, then the hospital at Fort Steward, where he retired after 30 years as a chemistry lab supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; sons, Robert and David and wife, Susie Rancourt, all of Midway; daughter, Lynn and husband, Sterling Magby, of South Carolina; aunts, Solange and Yvette Mailhot of Lewiston; and six grandchildren.
