JAY – A representative from Thomas College will visit the following schools:

Jay High School at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12.

Leavitt Area High School in Turner at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12.

The representative will meet with students to discuss Thomas’ academic and sports programs and its residential life opportunities.

SAD 52 quilting

TURNER – SAD 52 Adult and Community Education of Greene, Leeds and Turner is again offering “Quilt Addiction” from Sept. 18 through Nov. 20.

Participants will learn to quilt fast and easy using a rotary cutter and the strip method. They should bring their sewing machine to create a quilt project.
