PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Wesley Myers, Lewiston. Pine Tree Conference rivals have to be thinking it isn’t fair for the Blue Devils to graduate a Fitzpatrick Trophy winner such as Jared Turcotte and replace him with Myers, a junior with speed to burn and a nose for the end zone. Myers shredded Messalonskee for a staggering 474 all-purpose yards and all five Lewiston touchdowns in the second half of a 34-18 win. Myers averaged more than 13 yards per carry en route to 374 on the ground. He scored on runs of 1, 65, 51, 38 and 69 yards.
