Lewiston – Richard Robert Lapierre, 51, of 83 Manley Road, Auburn, died Saturday, Sept. 8, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lewiston, July 20, 1956, a son of Raymond and Pauline Roy Lapierre, he graduated from Edward Little High School in the class of 1975, and attended the U of M at Farmington. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1975 to 1979.

Richard was a member of the Auburn Catholic Community at Sacred Heart Parish and worked as a dispatcher at Union Camp, Decoster Egg Farm and Chapman Trucking. He was a big Boston Red Sox and Detroit Lions fan.

He is survived by his mom and dad, Raymond and Pauline Lapierre of Auburn; daughters, Shayla Lapierre of Greene, and Ashley Seile of Augusta; his sister, Theresa I. Lapierre of Athens, Ga.; his brothers, Michael and Gerald Lapierre of Lewiston; his nieces, Courtney Lapierre and Morgan Presley; his nephews Chad Lapierre and Dylan Presley.

He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Lapierre in 1974.
