• Aug. 30, 4 p.m. – A South Rumford Road resident reported that someone had kicked in a door of their house and stolen about $900 worth of medications, DVDs and frozen hamburger, pork chops and chicken. Police are investigating a male suspect for the felony burglary.

• James L. Allen, 43, Mexico, operating under the influence, 1:30 a.m. Sept. 1 on Lincoln Avenue. He was released on $300 unsecured bail and will be arraigned on Oct. 2 in Rumford District Court.
