AUBURN – The American Cancer Society will sponsor a pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Applebee’s Restaurant, 599 Center St., to support Relay for Life of Androscoggin County.
Relay is an event that raises money to help the American Cancer Society to save lives, help those who have been touched by cancer and empower individuals to fight back. The event is also a time to remember those lost to cancer and celebrate those who have survived.
Relay for Life of Androscoggin County was held at Edward Little High School track in Auburn on June 15 and 16.
For more information about Relay for Life and to find out how to volunteer next year, contact the American Cancer Society at 1-800-ACS-2345 or online at www.relayforlife.org.
