NASHUA, N.H. – Sandra L. Gaudet, 52, of Nashua, N.H., died unexpectedly early Sunday, Sept. 9, at her home.

She was the first to arrive of a set of twins, born on March 24, 1955, on Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, S.C., to Edgar and Lois Gaudet Jr. She attended schools in Dixfield, graduating from Dirigo High School, Class of 1973. While living in New Hampshire, she attended Hesser College working toward her degree in accounting.

She worked for the U.S. Government for 34 years. In January 1974, she began her career in Washington, D.C., where for seven years she worked as a personnel clerk for the F.B.I. In 1980, she moved to New Hampshire, where she was employed as a statistical clerk at the U.S. Post Office for the last 27 years.

She spent her life giving to others. Her free time was spent thinking of ways to put smiles on the faces of the people she loved, especially her nieces and nephew. She was the most comfortable in the kitchen, where her home cooking will be sadly missed at future family events.
