LEWISTON – Baby Cody William Spence was conceived in love and died on Friday, Sept. 7.

For the very short time we held Cody in our arms we loved him with all our hearts.

Cody is survived by his parents, Kari Ann Mason and Clinton S. Spence III, and big brother, Zachary Taylor Spence, all of Lewiston; maternal great-grandfather, Maurice Thorne of Mechanic Falls; maternal great-grandmother, Theresa Michaud of Auburn; paternal great-grandmother, Anna Meitzler of Florida; paternal great-grandfather, Clinton S. Spence Sr. of New York; paternal grandparents, Clinton S. Spence Jr. of Maine, and Theresa Welch of Florida; maternal grandparents, Rae Hughes of Lewiston and Jimmy Thorne of Sebago; aunts and uncles who loved him dearly, Christina Thorne of Auburn, Katie Sirois of Auburn, Steven Hughes of Lewiston, Angie Dumont of New Hampshire, Tammy Spence of Greene, Wayne Spence of Lewiston and Michael Welch of Florida.

Cody will be so very missed and will live in our hearts forever. We would like to send our heartfelt thanks to the following, Dr. Martin, nurses of the family birthing unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kim, Allison, Bobbie and our guardian angel, Tammy Brule.
