As a veteran, I was insulted by the lack of recognition from the Sun Journal for the beautiful ceremony on Sept. 1 for the unveiling of the USS Maine monument, the 12th stone honoring 216 more veterans, and the very nice park bench honoring the cities of Lewiston and Auburn that was unveiled by the two mayors.

I certainly believe the Sun Journal should apologize to all veterans for the lack of recognition.
