HERMON (AP) – The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department says two people have been critically injured in a mishap involving a crane.

Chief Deputy Troy Morton says the crane was putting a modular home into place when it came into contact with a power line in the town of Hermon.

He says two people have been transported to the hospital, but their condition isn’t known.

Central Maine Power dispatched a crew to the site. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will be investigating.
