LEWISTON – A funeral Mass celebrating the life of Therese L. Jean was held on Wednesday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, after prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Real Nadeau celebrated the Mass assisted by the Rev. Paul Marquis. Rev. Marquis recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of Mass, the pall was placed on Mrs. Jean’s casket by her daughters, Diane Morin and Jacqueline Violette. During Mass the readings were done by Lorraine Kitchen, Robert Landry and Erika Violette. The offertory was brought to the altar by Celeste Chapman, Nicole Jean and Jennifer Violette. Pallbearers were Andre, John and Mark Morin, Eric and Luke Jean and Peter Lessard. A reception of fellowship was held at Marco’s Restaurant after the committal prayers at the cemetery.
