Teachers to meet

RANGELEY – The Franklin County Retired Teachers will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Main Street. A program will be given by the Rangeley Bell Ringers, with a meeting and luncheon to follow. All retired educators are welcome. For reservations, call 778-4282.

DAR meeting

TEMPLE – Melanie Farmer of Temple will host the Colonial Daughters Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, at her home at noon Tuesday, Sept. 25. Members are being asked to bring food items for a potluck luncheon, to be followed by a regular meeting where dues will be collected for the up coming year, also donations for veterans.

Church supper

KINGFIELD – The Kingfield United Methodist Church will hold a supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. The menu will include baked ham, scalloped potatoes, vegetable, dessert and drinks. Cost is $6 a person; $3.50 children under 12. Family rates will be available as well as takeout and delivery.
