HERMON (AP) – A construction worker who was accidentally electrocuted while working on a modular home has been identified as a 24-year-old Portland man.

Angel Valespi was pronounced dead after the Wednesday accident.

A second worker, Robert McLeod of Harrington, was critically injured.

Valespi and McLeod were working on a home that was in contact with a crane that bumped into power lines.

, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said.

High winds were believed to have been a factor in the accident, which was under investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
