AUBURN – David B. Dennis, 50, of 9 Brickyard Circle in Auburn, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday, Sept. 12, at his home.
He was born in Lewiston June 4, 1957, a son of Rosaire and Claire (Raymond) Dennis. He was educated in Auburn schools, graduated from Edward Little High School in 1975, and remained a lifelong resident of this community.
Upon graduation, he worked for his father’s business, Dennis Brick, from 1975 to 1982. After that, he worked for Asplundh Tree Service before working more than 19 years at Elmet Technology, where he was employed at the time of his passing.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and among his favorite enjoyments were ice fishing at Thompson Lake with family and friends and taking drives on country roads, taking in the scenery and quiet solitude. He had a big heart and always loved helping people in any way he could. He will be sadly missed by family and friends, especially his brother Ray.
He leaves a brother, Raymond Dennis, and wife, Linda, of South Paris; three sisters, Rita McGraw, and husband, Mike, of Lewiston, Doris Coy, and husband, David, of Auburn and Linda Hobbs, also of Auburn; six nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his parents; and by an infant niece, Amanda.
